Product Density

The maximum recommended dosing of Voltaren Rapid is 100 mg per 1 mL of gel. This weight is not always effective. In clinical trials, the average maximum dosing of Voltaren Rapid 25 ranged from 5 mg to 12 mg per day, depending on the strength of the medication. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per month, but it may be increased to once per year based on individual response and tolerance to the drug.

Voltaren Emulgel - can be applied to the painful or swollen area

Adults and children over 12 years:

1. Place the affected area in your hand, as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. 2. Let the gel dissolve on the skin where it is intended to be.

3. After the gel has been applied, place the fingers or other suitable materials in your mouth or nose, if there are any protrusion from the skin.

4. After the gel has dried, wash your hands with soap and water, and repeat the above steps 1-4 more times before using the gel again.

5. After using the gel, wash your hands again and repeat the above steps 1-4 more times before using the gel again.

6. After applying the gel, do not chew or grind the gel as they will not work properly.

Description:Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength Gel is formulated to provide relief for acute, localized, minor muscle or joint injuries and contains diclofenac diethylamine, which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. This gel has a mild scent that disappears as the gel penetrates the skin and can be applied every 12 hours.

Indications:For relief of aches and pain associated with acute, localized minor muscle or joint injuries such as sprains, strains, or sports injuries (e.g. ankle sprain, shoulder strain, back muscle pain, etc.)

Dosage for Adults Aged 18 to 65 Years:

• Apply 2 grams twice a day (morning and evening) on the painful area using the dosing card supplied. Do not use more than 4 grams per day.
• Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength can be used for up to 7 days for muscle/joint injuries. See a doctor if symptoms get worse or do not improve within 7 days.

This phase II trial evaluated the safety and tolerability of Voltaren Emulgel Capsules and Voltaren Emulgel Capsules in patients with type 2 diabetes who are at risk of developing serious complications. The trial was conducted by the Medical Economics Research Group of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NIH), and the Research Group of the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
